Nogales, Sonora Homeless Feeding Kitchen - Lunch Program : On Tuesday, June 16th the homeless shelter in Nogales, Sonora began a lunchtime feeding program. They currently do an overnight shelter for men and women in seperate areas and a breakfast daily. Tuesday was the start of a lunch program. Pastor Arturo from Imuris is overseeing the shelter and asked us to come help on the first day. Dave spoke a few words about the love of Jesus, then we prayed with the men, women and children and then we fed them. We could only serve a limited number due to the amount of food we have, but we are praying for more food, tables and chairs to feed the growning number of homeless in Nogales.

Imuris Revival - June 12th through 14th, 2009 : June 12th through June 14th, Pastor Arturo and Lilia hosted a revival at the church in Imuris. There was worship, testimonies and speakers over the three night event. We ended each night with a little food and drink for those who came. We estimate there were approximately 80 or more people who attended each night. It was an awesome time and God's presence was with us as we held awesome outdoor meetings.

El Dia Del Nino Day Camp - April 25, 2009 : God Is On The Move partnered with Pastor Victor and Elizabeth from Nogales, Sonora to hold a camp for the children from their church to celebrate Mexico's "El dia del nino". God Is On The Move helped with puppets, games, prizes and Gloria was a clown. It was a great day with over 250 children in attendance.

San Luis - May 2009 : On Saturday, May 30th we went with Pastor Victor and Alicia and members of their congregation in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora to the dumps of San Luis to distribute toys and clothes. We had an opportunity to pray with one of the young women who was suffering from stomach pain. God really touched our hearts with the incredible needs these people have. This area has no water, sewer or electricity and the houses are made out of whatever the people can find.
